Let’s Cook Program

Lets Cook for Adults

Our Let’s Cook program is a 5-part instructional cooking series offered multiple times throughout the year. Our goal is to introduce families to basic nutrition facts, healthy food preparation alternatives, and how to cook healthy food on a budget.

Let’s Cook for Wellness

Elijah’s Promise now works to develop customized diets that maximize health for individuals living with chronic illnesses. Offered in partnership with the Chronic Illness Management Program at Children’s Specialized Hospital and St. Peters Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, Elijah’s Promise has implemented a new culinary training program to aid the dietary needs of children and adults suffering from chronic illness, specifically Type I and II diabetes.

Let’s Cook for Kids

Working in partnership with the City of New Brunswick’s Division of Youth Services and Unity Square, “Let’s Cook for Kids” engages over 100 youngsters from the New Brunswick Child and Youth Summer Enrichment Program to learn the basics of cooking and nutrition.

Let’s Cook in the Garden

We now offer “Lets Cook in the Garden” for students and adults to experience growing and harvesting produce as ingredients for their culinary classes offered through Let’s Cook!
