Harvest Update – Week of July 6, 2020

Garlic!

It’s time for another #HarvestUpdate! This week, Promise Agriculture harvested some amazing garlic. Planted back before the winter from the cloves of last year’s harvest, these bulbs thrived in the warmer winter this year. With almost 100 lbs of garlic now in hand, the Community Soup Kitchen, Promise Catering, and other exciting, upcoming community food programs will get to enjoy the flavor and nutrients of these alliums!
